The main aim of the organization is to work towards holistic development for all the community members in Tamilnadu

Center for Health and Gender Equality (CHANGE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering holistic development in Tamil Nadu. Situated in the blocks of Tirupattur and Kandili within Tirupattur District, our mission revolves around addressing critical societal challenges. At CHANGE, we are committed to tackling pressing issues such as child marriage, recognizing its correlation with poverty and the increased vulnerability it imposes on young girls. Early marriages often lead to social isolation, limited educational and employment opportunities, and pose significant health risks, including early pregnancies and related complications. For instance, in Tirupathur District, young girls from Kurumbar and Scheduled Caste communities are particularly affected. Program

Training of women workers on labor law.

According to the Indian constitution both men and women have equal rights in the workplace and should provide equal remuneration to them. Providing awareness to women in these areas has been one of our major programs.

Nehru Yuva Kendra program

Nehru Yuva Kendras were established in the year 1972 with the objective of providing rural youth avenues to take part in the process of nation-building as well as providing opportunities for the development of their personality and skills. NYKS has targeted to identify areas of harnessing youth power for development by forming Youth Clubs, which are village-level voluntary action groups of youth at the grassroots level to involve them in nation-building activities. The core strength of NYKS lies in its network of youth clubs. Youth Clubs are village-based organizations working for community development and youth empowerment.

Government welfare scheme service delivery program

The Karnataka government launched the Janasevaka scheme in a few municipal corporation wards to ensure home delivery of various services like ration cards, senior citizen identity and health cards.

Health camp for company women workers

Our Change trust conducted Health Camp for company women workers and more than 300 people participated and benefited.
